But reports of new air strikes show just how fragile that truce between two warring generals really is. Civilian life has come to a standstill in Sudan. The country’s residents are now facing major shortages of food, water, fuel and electricity. Sudan was already heavily dependent on humanitarian aid before the violence began nearly two weeks ago.
