In a first, players and coaches from the men’s and women’s teams are partnering with Carilion Pediatric Hematology-Oncology patients, getting creative to raise pediatric cancer awareness.More than 25 participating children and teens had the chance to paint custom shoes for the coaches and basketball staff to wear later this season. DENVER — The City and County of Denver is seeking to hire short-term shelter assistants as hundreds of people from Central and South America continue to arrive in the Mile High City.The city is paying $25 an hour for qualified applicants to work 24-39 hours a week. Johannesburg: Three swimmers died and 17 others were seriously injured on Saturday when a freak wave struck a popular beach in South Africa’s southeastern city of Durban, the emergency services said. “There was a freak wave that washed some people to sea, three have drowned and 17 people have been taken to hospital,” Robert Mckenzie, spokesman of the KwaZulu-Natal provincial first responders services told AFP. A groundbreaking FTC order in 2021 banned the stalkerware app SpyFone, its parent company Support King, and its chief executive Scott Zuckerman from the surveillance industry.
