Born in Attleboro, MA, he was the son of the late Bernard and Louise Turinese Calandrella. A life-long Catholic, Deacon John, ordained in 1995, served Sts. Francis and John in Georgetown. He served as Ex-officio Committee member of every committee at Sts. DAKAR, Senegal — Burkina Faso’s government expelled the top U.N. official in the country on Friday, asking her to leave immediately, officials said.Barbara Manzi, the United Nations’ resident and humanitarian coordinator in the West African nation, was declared persona non grata, the foreign affairs ministry said in a statement. An Edinburgh councillor has called for Gaelic signs to be installed at stops along Edinburgh’s tramway. Destination Cycles set an all time high with toys donated thanks to the help of Daniel Olson and the Hot Wheels he added to their donations. This year, they donated a total of 3,004 toys.  Josh Radu, general manager for Destination Cycles, spoke about how helpful Olson’s donation was. “A good part of his collection ended up in our toy drive. So hands down, it was our biggest year because of that, and we ended up donating just over 3000 toys.” Comparing this year to last, excluding the Hot Wheels, the numbers were about the same with Airdronians donating around 700 toys.…
