Torrential rains and flooding in Rwanda have killed at least 129 people this week…with reports the toll could rise still further. A search and rescue operation is underway. The extreme weather began last week, when heavy rains triggered mudslides that washed away homes and left some roads inacessible. The Rwanda Weather Agency has warned that more rain is coming.
