Ride the Semaphore Steam Train during the April school holidays. The Semaphore to Fort Glanville Tourist Railway is a wonderful 30 minute, four kilometre return train journey. It travels along the coastline and features open carriages pulled along behind a steam engine, offering great views of the foreshore. April School Holiday Operating Times: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12 to 27 April 2025. Operating times are approximately 11am to 4pm, with trains leaving about every 45 to 60 minutes. Each 4km long return trip to Fort Glanville takes about 30 minutes.
