The spring semester is off to a smooth start thus far after Penn Staters took some time off at home to relax and unwind for the holidays. Most of us likely spent the break back in our childhood bedrooms, perhaps visited by the ghosts of elementary and preschool past.
Nostalgia can hit you like a ton of bricks in college. Four years fly by and before you know it, you’re on your own in the real world. With less than 100 days until graduation, why not get back in touch with our inner child and combine our childhood memories with Dear Old State?
The Very Hungry Lion
Penn State is home to many culinary innovations such as Creamery ice cream, chicken baskets, grilled stickies, and more. Of course, a very hungry Nittany Lion will want to eat and eat and eat — how could he not?
In “The Very Hungry Lion,” the Nittany Lion snacks his way through Happy Valley, getting a taste of all that Penn State has to offer.
Don’t Let The Lion Drive The Bloop!
The Nittany Lion has one big dream: to drive Penn State’s most iconic form of transportation.
CATA is always looking to hire, but we’re not so sure putting the lion behind the wheel of the Bloop is the best idea. No matter how much ~CATA corporate~ would try to reason with him, our furry friend would not stop trying to convince them to give him the keys.
If You Give James A Football
If you give James Franklin a football, he’s going to want a top-tier class of recruits. If you give James Franklin crazy good players, he’s going to want to go to a bowl game. If you give James Franklin a bowl game, he’s going to give you a Rose Bowl win.
Rainbow Lion
Move over, “Rainbow Fish,” there’s an even prettier fish lion in the pond. The Symbol of Our Best really rocks that snorkel.
Go, Blog. Go!
“Go, Blog. Go!” is the perfect book to celebrate Penn State’s best student-run media outlet, Onward State!
Our blog mascot pulls off those goggles and is quick to report anything and everything Penn State. We may be a little biased, but this book would be a hit.
