The Marriage App or Matrimillas is the new forthcoming Netflix romantic comedy film title releasing this month. The Spanish language movie is directed by Sebastian De Caro, joined by writers Gabriel Korenfeld and Rocio Blanco. It was filmed around the Argentinian capital Bueno Aires and has been produced by entertainment companies Buffalo Films and Tieless Media.

The Marriage Plot/Storyline
Struggling to keep up with their marriage bliss, a couple is recommended ‘Equilibrium’ by their friends, who’ve recently traced their steps back to true marital love without couple’s therapy. Wearing the watches, or in this case, scales, throughout their daily routines to keep a track of, and balance their relationship, the young couple heads out in search of adding miles to up their romantic graphs.
Within a week’s time, they start seeing the difference, as their children misinterpret the reignited spark in their marriage as their ongoing midlife crises. However, the peace and harmony is disturbed as soon as the wife overhears her husband’s plan of heading out on a trip to Cancun. Soon, the race out to attain a thousand miles on their scales, because the first to achieve them gets to go on a trip, and their unified commitment transforms into a competition they can’t lose for the other counterpart’s favour.
