By India Today Web Desk: India and South Africa have gotten off to the perfect start in the T20 World Cup 2022 and will be heading to the Perth Stadium in Perth to get closer to cementing their spot in the semi-finals of the tournament.
The Proteas started their campaign by sharing points with Zimbabwe as their chase in the match was brought to a halt by rain. India, on the other hand, has a 100% record in the tournament at the moment. Rohit Sharma and his men started the campaign with a thrilling win over arch-rivals Pakistan and then followed it up with a dominant performance against the Netherlands.

What are the chances of rain in Perth?
The weather has been a major factor in this year’s tournament with many matches being washed out without a ball being bowled. However, the chances of rain playing spoilsport in the India vs South Africa clash seem to be less at the moment.
According to the Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, there is a slight chance of rain. “Partly cloudy. Slight (30%) chance of a shower. Winds south to southwesterly 25 to 35 km/h, becoming light in the late evening,” reads the forecast.
However, according to Accuweather, the showers are predicted to happen at 10 AM and 12 PM. The match is scheduled to start at 7 PM local time and rain hasn’t been predicted despite the cloud cover being high. The humidity is expected to be high during the duration of the match with the temperature ranging from 14 degrees celsius and dropping to 12 degrees celsius by 11 PM.
The fans of both teams would be hoping for an entertaining match and praying that the weather remains pleasant throughout the day in Perth.
