French-Cameroonian journalist Charles Onana and his publisher have been convicted by the Paris Criminal Court of denying the genocide against the Tutsis in Rwanda. Survivors’ associations had lodged a complaint denouncing negationist passages in one of his books, published in 2019. Charles Onana rejected these accusations during his trial. He intends to appeal. More information with FRANCE 24 correspondent in Kigali, Rwanda, Clément di Roma.
