Ghana’s ruling NPP party has accused the speaker of parliament of undermining democracy, a day after he indefinitely suspended it following a walkout by MPs. The NPP claims Alban Bagbin is biased towards the opposition NDC amidst a high-stakes standoff over who can claim a razor-slim majority in parliament.
