GLOW

Inspired by the cycles of the moon, GLOW is an interactive light installation from Amigo & Amigo that explores how lunar light sources draw people in across the world.

With over 40 different sounds and lighting animations, wander through and play with the interactive ‘moons’, or find a quiet spot and enjoy it at your own pace.

Come and explore GLOW for free on the front lawns of the South Australian Museum.

5 July – 21 July | 5:30 – 10:30pm daily

Superluminal

In this World Premiere, Patch’s latest work Superluminal blends bold visual design, collaborative storytelling, and interactive play to create an engaging and enchanting installation.

As children enter Superluminal, they receive colour-changing lanterns to use throughout the installation. Guided by a performer, they journey through five interactive spaces to reveal hidden animal tracks and discover animals from the past, present, and possible future. Children create their own mythical creatures, bring them to life with recorded sounds and spectacular rainbow lighting, and capture their fantastical shadows on a magical glow wall.

A theatrical presentation full of Patch’s renowned interactive light play, Superluminal takes its inspiration from the South Australian Museum’s collections of extraordinary objects. Throughout the installation, children are encouraged to discover nature’s extraordinary creatures, systems, and beauty, and how time shapes them.

Superluminal is the perfect school holiday activity for 4 – 8 year olds and their families.
