Calling all horse lovers! Wirraway Homestead will be running Muster Days, Horse Adventure Days and a Horse Helper Training Day during the October school holidays.
Wirraway Homestead Musters
Held in school holidays, Wirraway Homestead Musters are Christian adventure camps where kids aged 12 to 14 are encouraged to build new relationships, grow in Christ and have a great time.
Held over three days and two nights where kids sleep in bunkhouses and are supervised by bunkhouse leaders, Wirraway Homestead Spring Muster is packed with fun and excitement where each day brings a fresh assortment of activities.
Kids gain new skills by trying new things like mustering sheep, riding horses, building shelters and swinging on low ropes in a safe environment with the support of a fully qualified team.
With an array of new friendships and memories to be made, Wirraway Homestead Musters are a Christian camping adventure your kids won’t want to miss.
This year the theme will be Wirraway World Cup.
Dates: Monday 9 to Wednesday 11 October 2023
Cost: $325pp
Horse Adventure Day
Calling all horse lovers aged between 10 and 15.
These school holidays, go to Wirraway Homestead where you can ride and care for their horses for the day like they are your very own.
Set in picturesque Strathalbyn, you can help practice your horse handling skills and ride a horse in the great indoor arena. Then finish the day by grooming and caring for your horse.
This is the ultimate adventure for young horse lovers.
There are 2 x Horse Adventure days to choose from:
- Wednesday 4 October 2023 | 10am to 4pm
- Thursday 5 October 2023 | 10am to 4pm
Cost: $160pp (no meals included).
Horse Helper Training Day
A guaranteed fun training day for all horse lovers aged 13+.
Date: Tuesday 3 October | 10am to 4pm
Cost: $65pp (meals are not included).
