Woodhouse Adventure Park’s School Holidays UNPLUGGED ‘kids only’ day camps offer thoughtfully programmed adventures specifically designed with age-appropriate activities guaranteed to keep primary school kids aged 5 to 12 screen-free, active and entertained for the whole day… just 10 minutes up the South Eastern freeway on a magnificent 54-hectare nature wonderland in Piccadilly.
As always, this season of UNPLUGGED (running weekdays 10-21 July) features a different and creative theme every day, incorporating so many outdoor adventures including campfire fun, outdoor laser skirmish and ‘ice blocking’ (sledding down the hill on blocks of ice!). The Woodhouse team is super excited about WILD WEST day, developing their own ‘escape room’ for the DETECTIVE day, staging a real-life Mario Bros. cart race with billycarts, and recreating all the fun of a traditional sideshow alley for the Woodhouse CARNIVAL day. There really is something for every kind of kid … from nature lovers and arty types through to adrenaline seekers! Plus every day includes time on Challenge Hill obstacle course and a private Tube Slide session (weather permitting).
JUST $75 PER DAY (Scout Members save 20%) covers programmed activities and full facilitation (1:9 staff to child ratio) from 9am to 5pm.
School Holidays UNPLUGGED Themes:
Every day includes time on Challenge Hill obstacle course (with different sections and twists each day) and a private Tube Slide session (weather permitting).
Monday 10 July – Ultimate Woodhouse (includes outdoor laser skirmish) – From bouldering to outdoor laser skirmish, take our iconic Woodhouse activities and experiences to the next level!
Tuesday 11 July – Fairy Tale Detectives – Gary the Gnome is missing! Use your detective skills to solve clues, challenges and puzzles to help find him!
Wednesday 12 July – Woodhouse Wild West – There’s gold in them thar hills! Pan for gold, try your hand at lasso, take the water pistol challenge… and more!
Thursday 13 July – Winter Whiteout (includes ice blocking) – Don’t hibernate this winter! Embrace all its chilly highlights, from ice blocking (sledding) to ‘snowy’ Woodhouse blizzards!
Friday 14 July – Mini Construction & Fire Fun (includes campfire) – Calling budding engineers and builders for hands-on construction projects, plus traditional campfire fun!
Monday 17 July – Camp Woodhouse (includes campfire) – Woodhouse camping highlights packed into one exciting day … including s’mores around the campfire!
Tuesday 18 July – Game On! – Games galore including Giant Hungry Hippo, human Pac-Man in the maze and real-life Mario Bros. cart racing.
Wednesday 19 July – Nature Challenge – Share our love of the great outdoors with nature-based games, challenges and craft on our 54-hectare Hills nature wonderland.
Thursday 20 July – Classic Carnival – Roll up, roll up! All the thrills of the funfair, with traditional sideshows, carnival craft & the Woodhouse popcorn machine!
Friday 21 July – Adrenaline Rush (includes outdoor laser skirmish and ice blocking) – Do you have a need for speed, a call for adventure… and energy to burn? We have the perfect day for you at Woodhouse!
