The excitement kicks off in Rundle Mall for the AFL’s Gather Round in April.
It’s hitting fever pitch in Rundle Mall as they celebrate the return of the AFL Gather Round for 2025. Across the Gather Round weekend, from Thursday 10 – Sunday 13 April 2025, tackle footy fun with a line-up of exciting events throughout Rundle Mall for this Festival of Footy.
Immerse yourself amongst the action of Gather Round, as it officially takes over the city. Play on after the siren and go for goal, as you pass the AFL goal posts marking both entrances of the Mall, before making your way through to witness the giant 9.5-metre tall inflatable Sherrin football, standing proudly in the Gawler Place intersection.
Get In On It @ Rundle Mall – Fan Zone
The AFL is bringing the energy of Gather Round to Rundle Mall with Get In On It – an immersive AFL fan zone packed with footy culture, interactive games, and shareable moments.
Leading the charge is their footy-inspired barber shop, where fans can freshen up their look with bold cuts that celebrate the game. Soak up the atmosphere with live DJ beats each day, providing the tunes for your trip to the Fan Zone. Jump into the 360° photobooth, put your skills to the test in the LED Footy Space Invaders handball game, and take aim at their giant football darts challenge.
With surprise AFL and AFLW player appearances, exclusive merch experiences, and prizing up for grabs all weekend, this is the must-visit destination during Gather Round.
To help you make the most of this exciting weekend, Rundle Mall is opening ’til 6pm on Saturday 12 April 2025, so that you can shop for longer and later. Rundle Mall is an easy walk from Adelaide Oval.
