Celebrate Bub’s birthday, the National Railway Museum’s little blue steam engine, during the April school holidays.
This community-focused and family-friendly day celebrates the birthday of Bub with lots of entertainment and a free Bub Birthday Gift for all children between 3 and 8 years of age. Highlights include entertainment, interactive activities including the CFS display and fire engine, and of course plenty of train rides.

- Cool 4 Kids – song and dance
- Fritz the Clown – fun and magic
- Dig A Dino – interactive puzzles
- CFS Salisbury Fire Tender display
- Steam train rides behind BUB
- Rides on the old Redhen train
- Catering from Prospect Scouts and West Lakes Rotary with a range of food and drinks
Entertainment, including all the train rides behind the steam train BUB, and on the Redhen train are included in the admission.
There will be face painting available for a fee.

- Family (2 adults + up to 3 children) – $46
- Adult – $20
- Concession – $12
- Child (5 – 15 years) – $8
- Under 8 years – FREE
