Westbound – a FREE West End Mini Festival brought to you by Renew Adelaide.
Westbound will feature more than just a few of your favourite things! Drop in to the Lion Arts Factory Courtyard between 12pm and 6pm for live entertainment and free workshops (bookings required).
Matchbox Art with Blip Art School will be holding workshops suitable for kids aged 6 and over. In this creative workshop you’ll decide what your shop sells, design your shop front, and branding. You’ll use markers to draw onto a matchbox and place paper objects inside (depending on what you’re planning to sell of course!). At the end of this workshop, you’ll go home with your own tiny store, and an even tinier Renew Adelaide sticker on your shop window!
At Westbound you can expect:
- A curated artisan market with ceramics, jars of yummy things, prints, jewellery, flowers, fashion + more
- A live music lineup of some of the city’s most exciting emerging bands – all groove, no background tunes!
- Free artist workshops, so you can master a new skill and take home a creation of your very own
- Absolutely delicious food and drink from some of SA’s finest makers and mixers
This event is generously funded by City of Adelaide, and supported by the Adelaide West End Association and University of South Australia.
