To coincide with the opening of the aquatic and leisure facility, Mount Barker District Council has confirmed the closure and decommissioning of Mount Barker Mountain Pool after 70 years of operation.
Residents who make use of the seasonal Mount Barker Mountain Pool will have the opportunity to say goodbye to the venue at a FREE community weekend on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 March 2025, which coincides with the end of the season.
The pool will have FREE entry all weekend for members of the community to go along for a last swim, have a picnic or drop by and reminisce about what the facility has meant to them.

- Saturday 29 March 2025 | 11am – 6pm
- Sunday 30 March 2025 | 11am – 6pm
