If you are heading into the hills for a day trip, be sure to visit Bracegirdle’s House of Fine Chocolate at their new location in Hahndorf.

Bracegirdle’s has opened a new location in Hahndorf, and we managed to visit for an early look. It is a beautiful space perfect for a cuppa, meal, or of course, some chocolate! There are lots of sitting options including the main café space, or lots of cozy little nooks throughout the old home with comfy seats and fireplaces. There is also an outdoor seating area with beautiful lights and shady trees.
The café and kitchen is open for breakfast and lunch, and there is range of cakes and other small treats to go with your coffee or tea. A dedicated kids menu has lots of favourites including fish and chips, toasties and nuggets as well as breakfast options and drinks.
Be sure to treat yourself to their delicious range of sweet treats while you are there. When we visited in March their shelves were fully stocked for Easter!
Bracegirdle’s Hahndorf is a lovely space in the heart of the hills with a good mix of spacious room with a cosy feel to the café. There is carparking available, and an access ramp outside from the main footpath for prams or walkers/wheelchairs. There are toilets inside, but no changing facilities for little ones.

Bracegirdle’s is located on 102 Mount Barker Road, Hahndorf. There is limited dedicated carparking off the main street adjacent to the building.
