Baby Shark and Tails of The Seven Seas: Adelaide Fringe 2025 Review

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️   4 Stars for a cultural theatre experience

Review by Adaire Prosser

Join Baby Shark on an adventure around the world and through the seven seas on an immersive cultural journey to find their missing friend Dolly! Travel across the continents as Baby Shark meets new animal friends and learns new songs and dances.

From the Californian Ocean, to sunny Australia, Japan, South Africa, Brazil and New York, this family stage and music production combines a cultural experience with easy to follow dances ideal for ages 0-7 years.

In this Australian premiere performance, there is singing, violin, dancing, and acting. The children performers did such a professional job. The audience was captivated throughout the performance, and there were plenty of opportunities to call out help to Baby Shark or join in on learning a new dance. The show also included some magic segments performed by a very confident and talented mini magician.

The performance had a great ending, and finished with a familiar song and dance that was tailored to the experience. There were key themes of friendship, help and not giving up. The show kept the attention of our four year old reviewer and prompted a few questions as it progressed. The story line was easy for him to follow and understand.

Baby Shark and Tails of the Seven Seas is showing at the Main Theatre at Adelaide College of the Arts on select dates, and at Gluttony on weekends during Fringe Season.
