The Adelaide Equestrian Festival will once again deliver a show stopping 5-star equestrian event at Victoria Park/Pakapakanthi in May 2025.
This prestigious event is the only 5-star event of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere and in 2024 featured more than 70 equestrian athletes and their impressive horses. Uniquely located in the heart of the Adelaide CBD, Victoria Park/Pakapakanthi and its surrounding parklands will host the four-day festival showcasing the disciplines of Dressage, Cross Country and Show Jumping.
A globally respected horse trainer, Tristan Tucker joins the 2025 roster of Festival Ambassadors to enhance the educational offerings. With a focus on horse welfare and education, this partnership aims to provide a unique learning experience for equine enthusiasts and riders of all disciplines.
Chris Burton returns to Adelaide in 2025 to share his knowledge and recollections of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
KIDS GO FREE ON CROSS COUNTRY DAY
Children under 12 years old can enter the Adelaide Equestrian Festival for free on Saturday3 May 2025 with an adult by adding a free child pass to your cart on the website.
The celebrations on RB Sellars Cross Country Day include an after-competition concert in Victoria Park by local Adelaide band ‘The Happy Leonards’.
ATCO KIDS CORRAL
The Adelaide Equestrian Festival has some great activities to keep the kids entertained at the ATCO Kids Corral located within the Market Place, north of the Heritage Grandstand in Victoria Park/Pakapakanthi.
Open from 9am until 4pm daily, activities include:
- Access family favourite giant lawn games such as Giant Jenga, Chess, Cornhole and Connect4
- Sign up to compete against their professional riders and Olympic Medallists
- FREE face painting Thursday, Friday and Sunday
- Pony Tail plaiting, practise your presentation skills
- Meet Noodles the miniature pony
- Paint and Play sets from Breyer, magical figurines
- Whip cracking demonstrations
- PLUS, a chance to take a selfie with your favourite rider and get their autograph

Tickets
There are many different ticketing options available to ensure that you have the best possible experience at the 2025 Adelaide Equestrian Festival, ranging from General Admission, to the Giddy Up Club, to the full VIP experience in the Chairman’s Lounge Marquee. There are also extra events such as masterclasses, exhibitions and Saturday night Last Jump Party.
