The 20th annual Brighton Jetty Classic, presented by Channel Seven Adelaide, is SA’s Largest Open Water Swim. Plus, don’t miss the Marilyn Jetty Swimmers and the Brighton Jetty Classic Street Festival.
The Channel 7 Brighton Jetty Classic is an open water swim with distances of 1500m and 400m. There is also a SwimKids Series with distances of 100m, 200m and 300m for kids aged 7 to 12 years old.
Online entries close midnight on the Wednesday before the Sunday event. Late ‘On the day’ entries will be open on the day of the event from 7.30am to 11.30am and closes 45 mins prior to every wave swim start.

The Marilyns
The inaugural Marilyn Jetty Swim was held as part of the 2014 Brighton Jetty Classic. Since then it has become a crowd favourite with thousands cheering them on from the Jetty and shoreline. 2024 saw the biggest group of Marilyns to date, with over 650 swimming and shore Marilyns adding to the spectacle. In 2024 they surpassed $1,300,000 raised to help support South Australians impacted by cancer and the Cancer Council.
The 12th annual Marilyn Jetty Swim, once again proudly supporting Cancer Council SA, will feature the Marilyns march at 9.45am down Jetty Road, Brighton followed by speeches in front of Brighton Surf Lifesaving Club before their big splash.
The Marilyns swim at 10.50am in the Channel 7 Brighton Jetty Classic.

Channel 7 Brighton Jetty Classic Street Festival
Every year on the first Sunday in February the Esplanade closes to traffic and comes alive with the Channel 7 Brighton Jetty Classic Street Festival.
Kicking off from 7.30 in the morning with with egg and bacon breakfasts and a Surf Boat Carnival, the Brighton Jetty Classic Street Festival offers food trucks, music, entertainment, arts, TV personalities, sculptures, and market stalls.
The main stage will have entertainment from 9am to 5pm with bands, DJs, fashion parades and performers through the morning and into the afternoon.
