The ‘For Women in Science International Awards’ program was created in 1998. The honour is dished out every year by L’Oréal and UNESCO for exceptional women researches and their contributions to the progress of science. This year, the Foundation launched the 15th edition of the Sub-Saharan African Young Talent program. FRANCE 24’s Jean-Emile Jammine is joined by award winner, Happyness Ngonyani, doctoral student in Earth and environmental sciences.
