Dozens of people were killed in a single attack by the paramilitary group Rapid Support Forces targeting villages in Sudan’s al-Jazira state, south of the capital Khartoum, activists said on Friday. Sudan’s doctors’ union has said rescue operations are impossible and that the villages are “facing genocide”.
