Africa’s creative sectors have gone from strength to strength over the years, with the rise of Afrobeats and Amapiano and names like Burna boy, Davido and Tyla becoming household names around the world, the continent’s widespread cultural influence is undeniable. Challenges, however, still remain. Kayode Adebayo, founder and one of the directors of the Arts Connect Africa organisation which helps professionalise the promotion of African culture and music, speaks to FRANCE 24.
