NumberWorks’nWords July Holiday Program and Essential Study Skills Program
NumberWorks’n Words Norwood and Unley are running their popular July Holiday Program! During the 3-day program students will have the opportunity to engage with fun maths and English learning through individualised programs that will help boost their confidence in learning before the new term begins. Snacks and short games will be provided to keep the children engaged throughout the day. They are also offering their new intensive option over the 3 days that is great for students who need that extra support or for the young minds that love to learn!
Essential Study Skills:
Help your child take on exams with confidence this assessment season, with NumberWorks’nWords new Essential Study Skills course!
Help your child acquire the strategies they need this assessment season to achieve academic success.
This 3-day course is designed to help students in Years 7 to 11 to acquire the strategies and skills needed for exam/or assessment preparation and will be running 1pm-2:30pm from Thursday 18 July to Saturday 20 July.
Delivered in three 90 minute modules, the course will teach:
1. 4 methods of note taking
2. Test preparation tools and resources
3. Effective test taking strategies
