Rwanda on Saturday dismissed a US assertion that its forces were involved in a deadly attack that left several dead in in a camp for displaced people on the outskirts of the city of Goma in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. The attack is part of a decades-long conflict over mining between Kigali’s forces, its M23 rebel allies and an armed ethnic Hutu group with the Congolese army. World Food Programme Ambassador Distel Zola spoke to FRANCE 24 about his organisation’s work in Goma.
