Festive Weekends in the City of Adelaide
Embrace the holiday spirit with a series of Festive Weekends in the heart of the city at Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga. Kicking off with the giant Christmas tree lighting on Saturday 18 November, other highlights include Christmas Wonderland, the Adelady Christmas Village and Christmas Wrap Party.
Festive Weekends Events:
• Christmas Wonderland – Saturday 2 December 2023
• Adelady Christmas Village – Friday 15 & Saturday December 16 2023
• Christmas Wrap Party – Friday 22 December 2023
Saturday 18 November 2023 – Lighting of the Giant Christmas Tree
The lights will be switched on at approximately 8.45pm, and then each night at 8.00pm until 2 January, transforming the tree into a dazzling light display.
If it’s a warm night, the kids will love having a splash in the Victoria Square fountains too!

Saturday 2 December – Christmas Wonderland
Friday 15 and Saturday 16 December – Adelady Christmas Village
Victoria Square Tarntanyangga will magically transform into Adelady’s first ever Christmas Village proudly supported by The City of Adelaide!
The Adelady Christmas Village will celebrate festive joy with plenty of free family fun, live entertainment and local food and drinks, including a curated bar area showcasing the very best of SA. You can shop handcrafted treasures, summer fashion, homewares, art, last minute Chrissy vouchers, and of course Father Christmas and his elves will be there on both nights!
Friday 15 and Saturday 16 December 2023, 4pm – 10pm
Friday 22 December – Christmas Wrap Party
