FREE things for Families to do at The Royal Adelaide Show
You can find plenty of fun and exciting things to do for FREE at the Royal Adelaide Show that will keep the kids happy and entertained. There are free action-packed shows, interactive displays, animals to see, fireworks and much more all included with your entry ticket.
There is so much on offer each year at the Royal Adelaide Show. We’ve picked out TEN fabulous family friendly FREE things to do this year from the Show’s list of 100 free things to do!
1/ Check out the Kids’ Mid-Week Entertainment program featuring Bluey and her little sister Bingo (12pm), PJ Masks (2pm), and Paw Patrol (4pm) appearing daily from Monday 4 September to Thursday 7 September on the Goyder Stage.
2/ Visit the BankSA Farmyard Nursery and get up close to the adorable baby animals including lambs, goats, alpacas, and miniature horses.
3/ For more animal fun head to the Milking Barn and have a turn at milking a cow.
4/ Cheer on the Airtime FMX team as they jump and flip their motorbikes in the Main Arena.
5/ Take a photo on the 9 News set and watch the bulletin presented live at 6pm.
6/ Enjoy some family friendly comedy with Chicken Run 2.0! Families with young kids will love this hilarious, jam-packed performance with interactive action, slapstick comedy, and precision stunts.
7/ See what the buzz is about at a working beehive in the Learning Centre.
8/ Become a farmer for the day at Aggie’s Farm – pick fruit, harvest veggies and collect eggs to take to the Farmers Market. Exchange your produce and and receive a cute barnyard surprise.
9/ Take a seat around the woodchopping arena and watch men and women chop wood with incredible accuracy and speed.
10/ Stay for the nightly RAA fireworks – 8pm Sunday-Thursday and 9pm Friday & Saturday.
