OzAsia Festival 2023
OzAsia Festival returns with a jam-packed program with something for the whole family! For three weeks in October and November, OzAsia Festival brings the Adelaide Riverbank Precinct to life with music, dance, theatre, food, and fun.
With both free and ticketed events, food markets, art exhibitions and interactive, family-friendly experiences, OzAsia Festival is the biggest gathering of Asian and Asian Australian artists in the country.
Family Friendly Festival Highlights
Moon Lantern Trail – Free event
The free Moon Lantern Trail is one of our favourite family friendly OzAsia Festival highlights. In 2022, families could wander around Tarntanya Wama/Pinky Flat at their own pace to discover more than a dozen giant handcrafted lanterns, including four brand-new lanterns and the popular 40-metre-long Hong Kong Dragon.

Lucky Dumpling Market – Free Entry
Every year, at OzAsia Festival, the Lucky Dumpling Market brings the sights, sounds, tastes, and smells of Asia’s bustling street food markets to the centre of Adelaide!
In 2022, we were able to spend balmy spring evenings and weekend days surrounded by Adelaide’s best vendors cooking up delicious food from Korea, Vietnam, India, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Turkey.
