There is nothing more funny, scary and creative then creating your very own monster. Whether we like them or not, every good story needs one. They come in all shapes and sizes and Yawuru illustrator Brenton Mckenna is trying to hunt down and capture them all.
In this interactive workshop, Brenton runs through his creative process of how he creates his characters, particularly his good guys.
He then tips that process upside down, breaking all the rules he just taught you, to create hideous, ugly and grotesque monsters and creatures steep with personality.
From your daily nuances to your favourite childhood memories, no source of inspiration is off limits.
