In the arid lands of Cameroons Far North Region, a Region already having to contend with incursions by the jihadist group Boko haram, drinking water is a rare commodity. To solve this problem, the Cameroon Red Cross has set up a solar pumping system ,rehabilitated a drinking water production station and built standpipes in Makary district of the Logone and Chari division on the borders with Chad.
