Relaxed, Sensory-Friendly Morning at the South Australian Museum

A sensory-friendly evening for visitors of all ages, their families, friends, and support workers.

Visit the South Australian Museum out of hours where visitors with autism and other sensory or access requirements can enjoy a quieter, less crowded visit to the Museum. This is a chance to see all of the permanent galleries, and maybe discover something you’ve never noticed before.

While everyone is always welcome, the South Australian Museum acknowledges that sometimes the crowds and noise make visits harder for neurodivergent visitors and those living with a disability. For this event, they will be altering some of the screens, lights and sounds around the Museum to make it a more sensory friendly experience.
