Birdwood Drive ‘n’ Jive
Whether you are the owner of a Classic Drive, a Rock n’ Roll enthusiast or just love to be surrounded by chrome, 50s to 80s live music and everything in between you are welcome to attend the inaugural Birdwood Football and Netball Club’s Drive ‘n’ Jive.
Held at the Birdwood Oval, Birdwood Drive ‘n’ Jive promises classic cars, live music, a huge dance floor, food and stall vendors and local beer and wines suppliers to keep you entertained for the day. Gates open at 9am with the first band on stage at 10:30am.
Through the event, the Birdwood Football and Netball Club are raising funds for new women’s change rooms and community facilities. The History Trust of South Australia’s National Motor Museum will be supporting the event by donating 50% of all Motor Museum admission revenue from the day to the club and its fundraising efforts.
Tickets:
- General admission | $20
- Children under 15 | FREE
- Classic vehicle entrant | $30 per car load of legally seated occupants.
Owners of vehicles made between 1950 and 1989 are welcome to enter as a ‘Classic Vehicle Entrant’. The $30 admission fee includes entry for all legally seated occupants and parking for display on the oval. Make sure your vehicle is polished and ready to be admired.
No cash sales on the day.
