Woodhouse Activity Centre’s School Holidays UNPLUGGED ‘kids only’ day camps offer thoughtfully programmed adventures specifically designed with age-appropriate activities guaranteed to keep kids aged 5 to 12 screen-free, active and entertained for the whole day… just 10 minutes up the South Eastern freeway on a magnificent 54-hectare nature wonderland in Piccadilly.
As always, this season of UNPLUGGED (running weekdays 17-28 April excluding ANZAC Day) features a different and creative theme every day, incorporating so many adventurous outdoor adventures including creek activities, outdoor laser skirmish and ‘ice blocking’ (sledding down the hill on blocks of ice!). The Woodhouse Team is excited about the pirate day, some backyard science and a day of trikes, billycarts and mountain boards. There really is something for every kind of kid … from nature lovers and arty types through to adrenaline seekers! Plus every day includes time on Challenge Hill obstacle course and a private Tube Slide session (weather permitting).
JUST $70 PER DAY (Scout Members save 20%) covers programmed activities and full facilitation (1:9 staff to child ratio) from 9am to 5pm.
School Holidays UNPLUGGED Themes:
Every day includes time on Challenge Hill obstacle course (with different sections and twists each day) and a private Tube Slide session (weather permitting).
Monday 17 April – Vitamin N
That’s ‘N’ for nature! Do your kids need a good dose? Send them to Woodhouse for a day of catching bugs in the creek and more nature-play favourites.
Tuesday 18 April – Pirates & Pearls
Ahoy there matey! Come ashore and spend the day with the Woodhouse crew for a day of buccaneer treasure hunting and adventures.
Wednesday 19 April – Backyard Science
A day full of exciting sights, sounds and smells with plenty of hands-on activities to learn about the world around us.
Thursday 20 April – Woodhouse Boot Camp
Energetic kids will love this full-on day of challenges, trust exercises and team-based activities (includes outdoor laser skirmish).
Friday 21 April – Ultimate Woodhouse
All the Woodhouse favourites with a twist! From disc golf to outdoor bouldering, the Woodhouse crew will take our iconic activities and experiences to the next level!
Monday 24 April – Adrenaline Rush
Do you have a need for speed, a call for adventure… and energy to burn? We have the day for you! Jam-packed full of action and exploration including outdoor laser skirmish and ice-blocking.
Tuesday 25 April – NO UNPLUGGED DUE TO ANZAC DAY – but Woodhouse is open for family adventures!
Wednesday 26 April – Minute to Win It!
A fast-paced and action-packed day of quick teams-based challenges and games across our 54-hectare nature wonderland.
Thursday 27 April – Woodhouse Wheelies
We’re busting out the Green Machines (recumbent trikes), mountain boards and billy carts for a day of non-stop thrilling rides and good old-fashioned fun!
Friday 28 April – Twisted Tales
Once upon a time in a Woodhouse, not that far away, a new spin on fairy tales began! Join us for games, challenges and craft based on well-loved characters and stories… with a twist!
