NEW YORK, NY — The first month of 2023 is nearing its conclusion and there is plenty to do in New York City this weekend.

The Brooklyn Botanical Garden is celebrating the Year of the Rabbit with a plant tour through the Steinhardt Conservatory.
There will be Asian fruits and plants associated with the Lunar New Year.

Legendary New Yorker and comedian Jerry Seinfeld will return to the Beacon Theater this weekend.
He’ll perform a standup set starting at 7 p.m.

Year of the Rabbit at the Met: Metropolitan Museum of Art, Manhattan
Celebrate the Year of the Rabbit at the famous Manhattan museum with performances, interactive activities, and artist-led workshops for all ages.

NYRR Half Marathon: Central Park
New York Road Runners will host a half marathon on Sunday to honor Fred Lebow, the co-founder of the New York City Marathon.
Lebow was a Romanian-born Holocaust survivor who will be honored before the event.

Chinese New Year Firecracker Ceremony & Festival: Sara D. Roosevelt Park, Manhattan
The Better Chinatown Society will light countless firecrackers to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit.
The event will kick off at 11 a.m. and also feature dances, vendors, food booths, and more.

Cenicienta, A Bilingual Cinderella Story: Queens Theatre
An award winning bilingual rendition of Cinderella will take place at the Queens Theatre this Sunday.
