The Monroe County Library System is offering children’s activities for Christmas break.
• A Christmas Break Take-Home Bag is available at the Summerfield-Petersburg and the Maybee branches. The bag includes activities and challenges that children can complete at home.
• A Boxing Day Take and Make Kit can be requested through the Carleton Branch. The kit includes a craft, recipes and a history of Boxing Day, which is celebrated Dec. 26. Supplies are limited. For a kit, call the branch at 734-654-2180.
• Three Christmas Break programs have been set by the L.S. Navarre Branch Library, 113 E. Second St. All sessions will run from 4 to 5 p.m.
“Create Play Snow” is set for Dec. 27.
“Make Your Own Snow Globe” will be held Dec. 28.
“Winter Wonderland Art” is scheduled for Dec. 29.

• A Lego Challenge will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 27 at the Ellis Library & Reference Center, 3700 S. Custer Road.
“If you love Legos, you won’t want to miss this program filled with fun and wacky building challenges,” the library said.
• A Giant Twister & Board Game Café will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 28 at Ellis. Snacks will be provided. A variety of games will be available, including a giant Twister board.
• A Noon Year’s Eve party is set for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 29 at Ellis. A family friendly party, stories, games and crafts have been planned. To register for the Ellis programs, visit bit.ly/elliswinter.
