The sale will be held as usual in the Community Room of the Plumas County Library in Quincy and there are many new and interesting books for you to choose from. For your browsing ease, non-fiction books are organized by category and hardback and paperback fiction are in alphabetical order by author.
As always, children’s books are free, and you and your children are invited to select 20 free books per family. Weather permitting, all children’s books will be displayed outside on the library porch.
The sale will include a Silent Auction that features items of greater value or interest than our general sale offerings. The auction gives you the opportunity to bid on impressive multi-volume sets of books as well as individual volumes, many of which are in like-new condition and make wonderful holiday gifts.
The first day of the sale is reserved for MEMBERS ONLY, but don’t despair if you’re not currently a member. You can purchase or renew your Friends’ membership on the spot. An annual membership costs only $10 and entitles you to premier browsing rights at the sale
Better yet, buy a lifetime membership for $100 and guarantee yourself this privilege for…well… a lifetime! (Please note, both annual and lifetime memberships are PER PERSON, not per family.)
You can also purchase Friends’ memberships as gifts for others. The holidays are coming, and a Friends’ membership might be the perfect gift for anyone in your life who loves to read and cares about their community
